Introduction to Letterpress Printing (3-Hour Workshop)
In this three-hour workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of working with movable type and relief printing. We’ll start with a brief overview of letterpress history and tools, then move into practical skills: setting type, locking up a small form, inking the press, and pulling your own prints. By the end of the session, you’ll create a simple, beautifully textured print to take home, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue exploring this timeless medium.
Whether you’re a designer, artist, or simply a curious maker, this workshop offers a welcoming introduction to the craft of printing by hand.

Unique Printing Project (3-Hour Workshop)
We host an onsite (your location) letterpress experience for small to medium sized groups. Workshops are set up with a pre-designed project in mind so that participants learn press operation and how to pull a successful print. Projects can be created with traditional hand-set type, custom designed relief plates, lino-cut, and lego printing. If you're an artist, printmaker or creative, and would like to work on a project of your choice with us, we can set up an instructional guided studio experience for you to bring your idea to life.
Collaborators have access to our entire shop and equipment. Training and oversight is provided as required and only as needed. Collaborators will be fully involved in all phases of making the work.
